Hi, Family of 4 first timers, staying at the AoA. Budget is a major concern and was wondering if there is any place where we might purchase small grocery items (milk, small snacks, etc...) to avoid spending too much beyond our dining plan?

    Well hello again Emily!

So nice to hear from you again!

Disney's new Art of Animation Resort is a GREAT choice for your family! It's definitely great for the budget but it's also just an AMAZING resort and you're going to love it! Your whole family will feel as though you're immersed right inside some of your favourite Disney animated films. I had the pleasure of touring the resort just recently and it was truly spectacular!

Right on site at Art of Animation, just off the main lobby in Animation Hall, you'll find a great Food Court and Grab 'n Go area called Landscape of Flavors. Here you can not only enjoy casual dining, but there's also plenty of small snacks, treats, beverages including milk, bottled water etc. There's also a small mini-fridge right in your resort room so if you wish, you can grab a few items in the evening with the intention of saving them for breakfast in the morning!

I'm glad to hear that you're going with a Disney Dining Plan. It's a great choice for so many reasons and you're going to love it. Have you started making your Dining Reservations yet? If not, or if you'd like some recommendations, please write me again and I'll be happy to help you narrow down some choices to best suit your family and itinerary!

Hope to hear from you again soon ... have a Magical Day!
