Hi, Does the Wilderness Lodge still have bunk beds? I’ve heard they’re refurbishing the resort and was hoping they’d still be there for our trip in 2022. Thank you!

Hello, Nicole and welcome to planDisney where we can never stay too many nights at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel!

Nicole, Disney's Wilderness Lodge is always my husband's first choice in lodging, so I'm happy to chat with you about this resort. You are correct that like the trees surrounding the property, the rooms have recently been "spruced" up! While you'll find crisp new linens, unfortunately you won't find a bunk bed option. The standard room options are now 2 Queen beds or 1 King bed.

Nicole, if bunk beds are your top priority, check out The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness. While these stand-alone units are not at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (but located at the neighboring Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort), you will find bunk beds in addition to 1 Queen bed and 1 Double-Size sleeper sofa.

Nicole, regardless of where you stay for your next vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I hope it's as whimsical as Snow White's forest and as memorable as her meeting with the Prince. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have.

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
