Hi Does anyone know if you can meet and touch the animals at either animal kingdom,or Busch gardens?just my wife loves elephants, and would love to get really close to one

Hi John! I too love animals and the Animal Kingdom park is one of my favorites to visit on each trip to Walt Disney World.

Elephants are an amazing animal and I have been lucky enough to view them in their native lands of Africa. However, they are an incredibly strong animal and often unpredictable making a meet and greet impossible at Disney. You can view them on the Kilimanjaro Safari ride and even learn more about them on a Backstage Tales tour of this park but you will not be able to get close.

Perhaps your wife might enjoy taking the short train ride to the Conservation Station in the Animal Kingdom park. Here she will have the opportunity to get close and brush some of the sheep and goats and see other animals who call this their home. There is also often a vet procedure taking place that you can observe and ask questions to the vet. Animal experts are on hand and usually have an exotic animal from lizards to bugs for guests to learn more about and touch. This is a great place for someone who loves animals and can't get enough of learning more about them.
