    Hi, Does anyone know if Camp Wilderness has a dog kennel facility ? The dogs will be staying with us in an RV but curious to know if there is a kennel or day care they can stay during the day ?

    Hi Eileen! The Fort Wilderness Resort is the only resort on Walt Disney World property that does indeed allow guests to bring their pets with them. And this is only true for those guests who are coming in an RV. Tent campers and cabin guests are not allowed to bring pets.

    We got into the RV world because we wanted to spend a lengthy time at Walt Disney World but we didn't want to leave our pets at home. We love bringing them and enjoying the property that is full of beautiful walking trails and a well equipped dog park.

    If you are concerned about leaving your pets alone during the day when you are in the parks you do have one opportunity to have your dogs taken care of. It is called Best Friends Pet Care. There are no kennels on site but this facility it just five minutes from Fort Wilderness so it is very convenient. They do offer day care but I would suggest you call ahead and make reservations for the days you will want to drop them off. We do not use the day care but we do use them to kennel our dogs when we need to take a quick trip home or another destination. They love the facility and never balk at going in. We have always been pleased with their care and the establishment on the whole.
