Hi do you need to be staying in a WDW resort to go to the campfire at Fort Wilderness, or just be WDW ticket holders? We are not staying on site, but the three boys we are taking would love to go to the campfire!

    Hi Laura,

Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long is great fun for everyone.  You do not need to be staying at the Ft. Wilderness Campgrounds or even on Walt Disney World Property to see the show.  There is no cost for admission.  Depending on the time of year, the Campfire begins around 7:00 pm with roasting marshmallows.  You can purchase them, chocolate, and graham crackers at the small store located where the ampitheatre is.  Then a cowboy comes out and play on his guitar while singing.  Chip and Dale come out as well.  You will usually meet either Chip or Dale and not both depending on what side of the theater you are sitting.  After the Meet and Greet, there will be a Disney movie that you can watch.  For times of the campfire and which movie is playing, you can call Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campground at (407) 824-2900.  I know you will have a fantastic time, Laura!
