Hi, Do you have any advice on how to better my 5 year old son's chances of getting picked for the Jedi Training experience at Hollywood Studios??? He is a Star Wars fanatic and this would make his whole trip!!!

    Hi LuAnn!

I have to tell you that my son loved being a part of the Jedi Training Academy in Hollywood Studios! Over the last few years, they have changed the way they pick kids for this special interactive experience. Currently, they are taking sign ups first thing in the day right by where the Jedi Training Academy stage is located (next to Star Tours 2.0 the Adventure Continues) or sometimes sign ups are at the Sounds Dangerous attraction. You will have to ask a Cast member when you enter Hollywood Studios where the Jedi Training Academy sign ups are for that day.  These sign ups are only open at the beginning of the day for all of the shows for that day. There also is a standby line in case the kids that signed up earlier that day do not show up at their scheduled show time, but those in the standby line are not guaranteed to be in a show. My advice to you is to arrive at Hollywood Studios 30 minutes before the Park is scheduled to open and when it opens, head straight to sign up for that day's Jedi Training Academy.

I hope that your son gets to be a young Jedi in training at Hollywood Studios on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
