Hi Monique,
I just love seeing questions from fellow Atlantic Canadians, especially when the topic pertains to Walt Disney World Water Parks. There is absolutely nothing my family enjoys more than soaking up the rays, jutting down water slides, and hopping in a family-style raft to conquer the rapids at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Monique, it is definitely possible to add access to the Disney Water Parks to your
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets, but the ticket structure has somewhat changed. Recently Disney stopped selling the "Water Park Fun & More" option in place of the "Park Hopper Plus Option". With the new ticket structure, you are required to purchase a Park Hopping Option in order to then be able to add access to the Water Parks.
With the Park Hopper Plus Option, you have the flexibility to visit as many of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks as you wish in any given day. My family loves the Park Hopper Option, which gives us the ability to tour one Walt Disney World Theme Park by day, and then head over to a different park for nighttime entertainment. The Plus Option adds even more fun, as you also receive admission to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, as well as various golfing experiences. These admissions can be used on the same day that you are visiting a Walt Disney World Theme Park, or you can extend your fun even longer by using them on entirely separate days. The only restriction is that all admission on your ticket will expire within 14 days of the ticket's first use.
Wishing you a fun-filled upcoming Disney vacation!
Trish
