HI-DH and I will be taking our son in Sept to celebrate his 3rd bday. He's into wild animals so I'm thinking of staying at AK Lodge but I'm concerned that its too far away from MK where we will spend most of our time. Will bus wait/ride be too long?

    Linda:

I have a 4-year-old, and he sees the bus rides as part of the run of going to the park!  (Wish I could view them that way.)

Disney's posted maximum wait times between buses is 20 minutes, but I've found that to be much shorter most of the time.  The Savanna view at Animal Kingdom will erase any wait time memory you might have from the trip.  I'd say, go for it!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
