Welcome back to planDisney, Latisha! It looks like you are planning the ultimate Sweet 16 surprise for your daughter. I surprised my teens with a private VIP tour, and when talking through all we wanted to do that day, my son said, "That is going to require some real Disney magic." We had it with the most amazing guide.
I know keeping the surprise is part of the birthday celebration. Luckily, you do not have to worry about
My Disney Experience giving away your secrets. The VIP tour does not show up in the app. You can make
advance reservations by calling
Disney VIP Tour Services up to 60 days prior to your arrival. Resort guests can make reservations at 60 days from your first day at Disney for any day in your stay (up to 10 days). These are very popular and book quickly, so I recommend adding the 60-day-mark to your calendar. (It is the same window as making advance dining reservations, so you can note it on your calendar without revealing your plans.)
The VIP Tour Services will help you with making the reservation, selecting the time of the tour, setting the location to meet your guide, and noting your wish list. Theme park tickets are required, including the Park Hopper option or annual passes if you want to visit more than one park. Tours are at least seven continuous hours, but you can schedule longer tours.
The Tour Services team can help you design your ideal day. With their experience, they have a wealth of knowledge of what can be done and how to manage the day efficiently to make the most of the experience. My suggestion: work with them to select a meeting location closest to her favorite ride for a magical reveal and end your day with fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. Watching
Happily Ever After is like a birthday dance party with larger-than-life candles to celebrate.
I wish her a very happy birthday! And I hope all your plans to make her day so special bring you both memories for a lifetime.
Enjoy!
