Hi there, Julio!
Thanks for hopping over to planDisney with such an
egg-cellent question. My husband and I love embracing a little friendly competition during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations, and the seasonal scavenger hunts in
EPCOT provide such a fun (sometimes feisty) way to explore the theme park with company. Since your magical vacation begins in less than a week, let's hop right to the details!
Disney Parks Blog has confirmed that both Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration and the Egg-stravaganza Hunt will be returning to EPCOT this spring during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. While there were no specific dates provided for the Egg-stravaganza, its
inclusion in the Flower & Garden Festival announcement as well as the early Easter date in 2024 might mean it will begin when the festival kicks off on February 28.
Since you inquired specifically about these activities, you are likely aware of the specifics, but I wanted to share the key details just in case. Hunt-specific maps can be purchased and redeemed for a prize at Disney Traders,
Creations Shop, or World Traveler at International Gateway. While the Disney-themed eggs are adorable, I love how the Spike encourages Guests to
bee aware of all of the beautiful gardens as they buzz around EPCOT.
Although you won't have to hunt for them, you can also find
delightfully decorated Easter eggs at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resort beginning March 3. Each year the pastry team puts together quite the display, so I hope you'll hop aboard the
Monorail to check it out!
I hope this was helpful, Julio, and that your vacation is
egg-stra magical! If you have any additional questions for me, don't hesitate to stop back by. Hakuna Matata.
I'm always happy to help!
Hoppy Trails,
Lizzie
