Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Toni!
I absolutely love visiting Walt Disney World Resort during
the holiday season. I can't resist coming back year after year for that extra little bit of pixie dust that you only feel around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Make sure to visit
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to check out one of my favorite holiday decorations, the 14-foot tall
Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, which also operates as a sweet shop! I always bring home a few Gingerbread Shingles because they make great stocking stuffers at Christmastime.
If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner on your upcoming vacation, you have quite a few options to choose from. It is Thanksgiving 365 days a year at
Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square at
Magic Kingdom Park. They offer a family-style turkey dinner every single day, and you can probably imagine that it's a really popular reservation to try and get for Thanksgiving Day. You can also get turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes served family-style at
Garden Grill Restaurant in
Epcot, which is also a
Character Dining experience!
There are also some restaurants that will offer a special limited-time Thanksgiving menu on November 28 this year, but they haven't been confirmed for us just yet. There are a handful of dining locations that I can usually count on for a traditional holiday meal, like
Le Cellier Steakhouse and
Biergarten Restaurant in World Showcase at
Epcot. Some newer restaurants have recently started celebrating with one-day-only menus, like
Ale & Compass Restaurant at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, which served a Thanksgiving buffet for lunch and dinner in 2018. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog so you can be the first to know which restaurants will be participating in the holiday fun this year.
Have a magical day, Toni!
