Hi Can you still opt out of daily housekeeping and receive a gift card instead, if so what value is the gift card please. im giving it to the kids and want to know how much they will have to share thankyou

Hi Andrea! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort will be here in no time. How exciting! I bet you are busy with last-minute preparations for your Incredible Summer visit.

Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels are able to participate in the Service Your Way program that provides the opportunity to decline housekeeping, or "Mouse-keeping," on each night of their stay except for the last night of their reservation. This program has been available at Disney Resort hotels in the value and moderate categories (including The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort). From my experience, the value has been $10 per night, so with a 5-night stay, you would receive a $40 gift card (since you aren't able to decline Mouse-keeping on the last night).

If you are curious if your Disney Resort hotel is part of the Service Your Way program, I encourage you to call your Disney Resort hotel in advance or contact the Front Desk when you arrive for your stay and inquire about the availability.

I hope this helps you prepare for your magical stay, Andrea! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
