Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to
planDisney you go, Ashley!
I’m happy to report that yes, you can link your
Magic Key pass to your
Disneyland app on you iPhone, and use that instead of using
MagicBand+, if you prefer. You'll be able to use the Disneyland app to enter the theme parks, use Disney Genie+ service, scan Disney PhotoPass pictures, make dining reservations, and more. MagicBand+, on the other hand, allows you to have hands-free access to enter the parks and to check in at Lightning Lane entrances, in addition to enhanced experiences during nighttime spectaculars and while navigating the parks.
To help you get started with linking your Magic Key, you’ll want to make sure you have a Disney account, and that you've downloaded the Disneyland app. Once you open the app, tap on the three lines at the bottom of the home screen navigation, and select “Tickets & Passes.” You’ll likely be asked to sign into your Disney account at this point, if you haven’t already. Tap on the “+” in the upper right corner, and select “Link Tickets & Passes.” You can either scan the barcode for your Magic Key, or enter the ID number manually. Now that your Magic Key should be linked, you should be able to see it under “Tickets & Passes.”
I hope this helps, Ashley! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
See ya’ real soon,
Kristin
