Hi, Can you link Disney Gift Cards to your Magic Band? We're coming in July! Thanks!

    Hello Sharon!

I am a big believer in Disney Gift Cards. We use them to budget for our trip in a "forced savings" kind of way. We also use them as gifts for our kids to hold onto for souvenir money.  At this time Disney Gift Cards cannot be connected to your MagicBand for payment. You can, however, have a credit card or debit card on file to utilize your MagicBand for charging and pay down that balance with your Disney Gift Cards. If you decide to do this, please note that currently a hold of $100.00 is placed on your credit or debit card and additional holds are placed as you charge over that amount. So, even if you pay down your account each day, it is possible that there will be a temporary hold on your credit card/debit card funds.

By the way- did you know that some discount  Clubs such as Sam's Club offer Disney Gift Cards at a discount?  It's a win-win!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
