Hi,can I get a cab to disney Boardwalk Inn so I can then cut through the hotel and get onto the Boardwalk? Planning to meet friend for breakfast before we go into Epcot. Thanks x

Hi there, Alexandra! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m happy to help with your question. BoardWalk Inn is an amazing deluxe resort, and while I especially love visiting when it’s lit up in the evening, beginning your day there before venturing into EPCOT is also a great idea. Trattoria Al Forno is an excellent breakfast option, and I strongly recommend the Sunrise Breakfast Pizza. Delizioso!

I’m happy to report that you will have no trouble taking a cab to BoardWalk Inn and walking through the hotel lobby to get to the resort’s restaurants and shopping. You can simply stroll over to EPCOT’s International Gateway after you’ve enjoyed breakfast, and your magical Disney day has begun! Another option is to board a FriendShip Boat, which transports guests between BoardWalk Inn, Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. The water taxis aren’t as quick as walking, but they’re a good option when you want to relax and rest your feet.

There’s so much fun happening at EPCOT this summer. Not only is there a new show at the CommuniCore Plaza Stage—¡Celebración Encanto!—but Goofy has recently taken over CommuniCore Hall as part of Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World. And if you’re looking for a way to beat the heat, be sure to stop by Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana to cool down and explore the wonders of water.

I hope this information is helpful, Alexandra, and that you have a great time at BoardWalk Inn and EPCOT. Pop right back if you have any other questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
