Hi! Can we bring in bagged ice to the parks to keep food cold?

Hello there, Sheri! Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get the answers to their planning questions.

I love that you can bring food and drink into the parks at Disneyland Resort. This was especially helpful when my kids were little. We were always stocked on snacks for attraction queues and in between meals. While coolers are allowed in the parks, as long as they are no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, dry and loose ice is not permitted in the parks. Reusable ice packets are allowed and recommended to keep food cool.

If you don't want to carry your cooler around the park all day, I recommend utilizing the locker rentals. These are available in a variety of sizes and locations both outside of each park entrance and inside the parks as well. You are allowed to access your locker all throughout the day for one daily fee.

Rogers: The Musical will be debuting the day of your arrival, so if Disney California Adventure Park is your park for the day, you won't want to miss this. There will be a virtual queue for this show which you will be able to join from the Disneyland app.

Sheri, thanks so much for stopping by. Come back and see us again with any other planning questions. See you real soon!

You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
