Hi-can you advise on best way to get from Boardwalk Hotel to Contemporary Hotel? Looking at breakfast at Chef Mickey's but staying at Boardwalk. Also, would you recommend I just book Cape May breakfast since staying at Boardwalk and it's closer? Thx!

Hi Kristine! Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The easiest way to get from Disney's BoardWalk Resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort is to head to the bus stop and hop on the bus designated to Magic Kingdom.  Once at Magic Kingdom, follow the signs to the Monorail, it's just a short walk.  Once you board the monorail, it's a quick ride and the first stop is the Contemporary Resort.

Chef Mickey's is a very popular breakfast, maybe one of the most iconic character meals.  We've had breakfast there before and had a great time.  Although, since you mentioned it, I will tell you I love the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe so much more.  It's a less crowded breakfast because it's off the beaten path.  I have found we always have a better character interaction here, it just feels less rushed. The characters are dressed in their beach attire, which makes for a really cute picture.   I also like the food better at Cape May Cafe.  They have a wonderful breakfast buffet full of pastries, biscuits and gravy, an amazing egg and chorizo scramble and lots of other yummy options.

Whatever you choose to do, I know you will have a great time.  If I can help you with anything else, please come back and ask me.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
