Hi Can I add Genie to my tickets when I plan to visit on day of my reservation

    Hiya, Swathi!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR!

Oh Boy! You're going to be at The Happiest Place on Earth so very soon! Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog Food Guides to both Disneyland Resort as well as what you cannot miss at the Disney Festival of Holidays located inside Disney California Adventure Park!

At the current time, Swathi, there are two ways to add all of the phenomenal cosmic power of the Disney Genie+ add-on product to the itty-bitty living space of your smartphone and the Disneyland Mobile App: either include the add-on option at the time of your Theme Park Admission Ticket purchase, or, add it to your Disney days each morning after you've already entered the theme park.

Because you already have your park tickets, you'll have to go the second route, which is to add Genie+ each day. However, I actually like this plan a bit better than I do adding Genie+ to all of the tickets up front, because this way you can kind of pick and choose who wants to use this digital helper on which day. (When you add it at the time of the ticket purchase, it auto-magically connects to each Mouseketeer for every Disney day. However, this add-as-you-go plan will let you kind of test-drive the service to see if you'd even like to use it over your whole visit.)

To add this purchase to each of your Disney Days, you'll simply open up your Disneyland Mobile App after you've already entered the theme park and you'll press the plus button in the bottom center. From hEAR you'll see a new pop-up screen that should give you the option to add the Disney Genie+ option to all of the theme park admission tickets linked to your account. After you select 'purchase', you'll be ready to select a Lightning Lane and fly through the theme parks on your very own magic carpet!

I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Swathi, and to better plan for your upcoming Disneyland days!
