Hi, As far as bringing makeup into the parks I’m confused. I would like to bring a loose setting powder or a pressed setting powder into the park, but I haven’t found a clear answer online. So will I be able to bring in such powders in a plastic container?

Hi there, Katarina, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth

I checked the Disneyland Resort Rules, and I didn’t see any mention of loose-setting powder or pressed-setting powder being prohibited in the Resort. So, I don’t think you should have any problem bringing your makeup powders in their plastic containers. The Resort does have size restrictions on bags, though, so just keep in mind that suitcases, bags, or backpacks can’t exceed 24” long by 15” wide by 18” high. Also, if you’re worried about your makeup getting jostled around too much on attractions, I recommend renting a locker to store it in. You can find Locker Rentals on The Esplanade between the theme parks, and inside both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

There’s so much to look forward to this year, from the opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance this month, to the start of the “Magic Happens” Parade in February. Have you heard about the Disneyland After Dark Special Event Tickets, too? I attended Disneyland After Dark: 90s Nite last year, and had so much fun! This year, the series includes 80s Nite, Sweethearts’ Nite, PIXAR Nite, and Villains Nite. Click here for more information and to nab tickets before they’re gone!

Wishing you a year filled with magic and adventure, Katarina!
