Hi,arriving Oct 19th w/an infant turning 4months that day,any helpful tips? staying for 2 weeks onsite split stay SSR & AKL,would you advise bringing the infant carseat? any tips for our stay would be appreciated! :)

    Hi Nichole!

Congratulations on the new baby! I took my daughter to the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time when she was 17 days old! People thought I was crazy but what can I say, I am a huge Disney fan! Bring the infant car seat if you feel you will need it. I used to only bring the stroller to the parks.  Here are a couple of tips: October is still very warm in Florida and can be very uncomfortable for an infant.  What I used to do was dress my baby in a onesie and I would attach a clip-on fan to the stroller. (They also sell these at the Disney parks). I would also bring a little washcloth and freshen her up in the restroom. The baby sunscreen is also a must! Keep in mind that there are plenty of shaded areas and covered attractions through out the parks. If it was too hot, I would head back to the Disney resort, freshen up and return to the parks around 5:00 p.m., when the sun was setting, as it would be cooler.

Another tip would be that you also familiarize yourself with the Baby Care Center located in each park. Here you will find a great air conditioned place designed for mom and babies where you can change your little one, utilize the rocking chairs to breastfeed, heat baby food or milk if needed and even purchase medicine, diapers or other baby items.
