    Hi!Arriving 10-3 @ noon. We have reservations that night @5pm for planet hollywood, 10/4 8am for crystal palace, 10/7 815am for play and dine. Do u reccomend we catch a taxi or the shuttle tho these?if shuttle, what time should we leave hotel? Thanks..

    Hi Reiko!  Wow your wonderful trip is getting closer!  You did not mention your resort hotel so I am not sure how to advise you with the timing but will give you some general information that should help when you arrive.

    Disney buses from any of the resorts will take you directly to Downtown Disney in about 20-30 minutes.  This is an easy way to reach Planet Hollywood and from the bus section you will have a few minutes walk so give yourself at least 45 minutes.

    When heading to the parks and using the Disney transportation I recommend giving yourself at least an hour.  Once you reach the parks you will have to get to your dining spot which also takes time.  On early mornings when you hope the kids will sleep as long as possible I often just arrange for the valet stand or front desk to call for a taxi.  Children are not required to be in car seats in a commercial vehicle in Florida but this is something you have to decide if you are comfortable with.  If you have a large family group request a van cab and at the same time request a cab that might be carrying a car seat  as some of them keep them in their trunks.

    Never cut your timing short as that will only add stress to your day.  Leave early for the reservations and enjoy walking around the park for any extra time you might have before dining. Running to get to a restaurant will ruin any meal!
