Hi Patricia!
Welcome to planDisney!
At this time, a
Disney Dining Plan can only be purchased as a part of a vacation package that includes a
Disney World resort stay. So, unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase a dining plan as an off-property guest.
Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy all of the great restaurants offered at the parks! You can even leave the park for a bit during the day and head to a nearby resort to try a restaurant there if you’d like.
As an off-property guest, you’ll be able to
book your Advanced Dining Reservations beginning at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to the date you’d like the reservation for. I recommend booking as soon as possible to give yourself the best chance at snagging the reservations you’re hoping for.
If you don’t happen to get a reservation you had your heart set on, you can always check to see if there’s any availability via the
Walk-Up List while you’re at the parks. You can find walk-up availability by clicking the restaurant on the map section of your
My Disney Experience app (or by searching for the specific restaurant in the app), then clicking Join Walk-Up List.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan!
