    Hi, After 1h30 long distance call at Disney, Disney informed me the only way to link my Hilton Disney Springs booking to My Disney Experience is to get a confirmation number with 10 numbers and not 8 like Hilton give. What can I do?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m sorry you’ve run into a snag while trying to plan your visit. I’m not sure if you are staying at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace or the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, but both are in the Disney Springs area and now offer access to Disney’s Extra Magic Hours and a 60 day FastPass+ selection window!

    I spoke to Stephanie at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace and she had some general information that may be helpful for you. She confirmed that the official Hilton confirmation numbers are 10 digits, rather than 8. If you booked via a third party company such as Orbitz or Priceline, you may have their confirmation number rather than an official Hilton number. You can try contacting that third party company to get your Hilton confirmation number, or you can contact your hotel directly and they can help find your 10 digit number. Of course, the fastest way to do this would be for you to call your resort directly, but I did ask about alternate options since you are calling from Canada. She mentioned there is an online contact form you can submit, or you can call the general Hilton number at 1-800-Hiltons.

    She also mentioned that it can take 48 to 72 hours, and sometimes even up to a week after a reservation is booked before the Hilton confirmation number will link to My Disney Experience. So even with the correct confirmation number, you may not be able to link your reservation immediately, even with a 10 digit number.
