Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome back to planDisney! As the mom of two (an almost three-year-old and a five-month-old), I spend a lot of time trying to manage the magic of Walt Disney World with naps and bedtimes. My Prince Charming falls firmly on the side of letting the littles sleep in their strollers, while I’m more on the stick to the schedule side. Depending on the night, we have definitely let our littles sleep in their strollers while we enjoy the fireworks or one last ride.
Jennifer, I agree that wagons and stroller wagons are incredibly useful for maintaining sleep schedules. Unfortunately,
Walt Disney World Resort property rules still prohibit their use even for
H2O Glow After Hours at
Typhoon Lagoon. Since we’ve done a lot of late nights at Walt Disney World, we have found that a stroller that fully reclines is perfect for instances such as these. Depending on how old your infant is, I highly recommend looking for one that folds completely flat so your little one can be comfortable. We just packed a blanket, reclined the stroller, and let the magic lull our oldest to sleep on many nights.
I wish I had better news for you, Jennifer, but I hope this was helpful. Before I let you go, I wanted to also recommend getting a
Beachcomber Shack for your visit. The private area would be perfect for your little one to get some sleep during H2O Glow and will give you a nice place to sit and keep an eye on your Mouseketeer while you enjoy the included features. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
