Hiya Norm,
Welcome to planDisney! September is just around the corner, and soon you and your family will be strolling along Main Street, U.S.A. This time of year is notoriously unpredictable for weather, so be sure to add rain gear, extra socks, and layers to your packing list. I always find that being prepared for anything Orlando weather can throw at you is the best way to have the most magical visit.
Walt Disney World Resort does offer group rates, but I’m not sure that your group qualifies for the rates. Group rates are traditionally provided for meetings and convention groups of over ten attendees. With that being said, if you believe this designation applies to your group and want to double-check with a Cast Member, you can contact the Group ticket sales at 407-566-5600. Either way, if you have not gotten your Theme Park tickets yet, I would highly recommend doing so soon. To enter the Theme Parks, you need both Theme Park tickets and
Disney Park Pass Reservations. Disney Park Pass Reservations can book up fairly quickly for
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and I would hate for you to miss out on visiting those two Theme Parks on the dates you are planning to arrive. Remember, just because you have a Theme Park ticket doesn’t guarantee you entry to the parks. You need to have Disney Park Pass Reservation.
Please come back and see us if there is anything else you need or tips on large group vacations!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
