hey!1st x ever wit DS6!8/23-08/29.?is i heard of kids who r trained wear diapers cus of long lines,i want 2 keep DS hydrated but also am afraid that he will have 2 use the bt when we r about 2 get on a ride!he usually has 2 pee often.should i put a diaper?

Mariela,    Well, this is a new one to me!  I honestly have never heard of anyone going this route using diapers.   While this might seem like a good idea to you, you might have a difficult time getting your son to go along with this plan!

Even during the longest waits, you will be on and off a ride in 2 hours (and this does not happen often, and you will see the wait time before getting in line.)

One thing WDW is not lacking in is public restrooms.   I suggest having your son use the restroom before getting in line, and at age 6, I would guess he would be able to go 2 hours between breaks.   Rarely will he have to wait longer than this.

If you do find you need to exit the line in an emergency potty situation, let a cast member know to see if they can help you out by letting you return to the line.   As a rule, though, have your son use the restroom frequently, especially before entering a long line.   Also, plan to carry a change of clothes just in case of an accident.

Good luck and enjoy your first WDW vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
