Hey, I’m looking at a Christmas family holiday from 22nd of December 2021. Please can you tell me when I would be able to make this booking. Many thanks

    Hi Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's always a pleasure to help fellow guests from the UK, and I fully understand the desire to book your next holiday as early as possible, especially for Christmas, which is one of the busiest times of the year at Walt Disney World Resort.  I spoke with the Walt Disney Travel Company International (freephone UK number: 0800 028 0778) and they confirmed that at this time they can only make reservations up to the end of December 2020 and they do not know when availability for 2021 will be released, but this could be any time up to the end of March 2020.  I can only recommend that you keep checking the website for new dates.  I will be doing the same!  December is a lovely time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I have often been there around that time of year and it can be (but is never guaranteed to be) still warm enough to spend time at the water parks or use the pool at your Disney Resort hotel.

The Christmas decorations are beautiful across the whole Resort, and it's worth a visit to the Disney Resort hotels too, especially those with a gingerbread house in the lobby (yes, made out of real gingerbread!).  Namely, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and last Christmas for the first time, Disney's Wilderness Lodge had a gingerbread cabin in the lobby.  Also, the dates have not been released yet for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, but you may just arrive in time to experience this too.

While you are waiting for your holiday dates you might like to watch these planning videos.  Also, we have a very extensive Disney Parks Moms Panel Video Library which is full of hints and tips from our panelists.  You are also very welcome to come back and ask us any questions, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on any events that may be happening during your stay.

Please come back and visit us. We are always happy to help!
