Hey, I have booked our rooms for January 2016. I will have to add tickets and dining when prices are released this summer. My question: is this likely to be available in time for the 180 day mark to make my dining reservations? Thanks

    Julie:

Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Moms Panel. I want to make sure that I'm understanding your question. If you are asking if the prices for meals for the Disney Dining Plan will be available 180 days out from your arrival, they may or may not. Prices for the buffets along with items at Disney restaurants can change at any time. Additionally, the Disney Dining Plan pricing may not be out for 2016 by summer.

However, regardless of whether the Disney Dining Plan prices for 2016 are out, you can still make dining reservations online through Disney's Dining Reservation site at your 180-day-out mark from your arrival. You do not have to have the Disney Dining Plan reserved on your account to use the reservation site. The advantage you will have at the 180-day-out mark is that if you have a reservation in the system, the site will allow you to make dining reservations 10 days into your stay. This means that technically you can begin booking at the 190-day-out mark for the 10th day of your vacation.

I would recommend that you go ahead and plan your dining regardless of whether the pricing is released as the more popular restaurants are booked 180 days out. You can always make the decision to cancel as close to 48 hours from your dining time if the price is not within your budget.

If I haven't understood your question correctly, please come back and let me know how I can help.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
