Hi Alyse! Welcome to planDisney!
I always say it's never too early to start planning for a Walt Disney World vacation. While you may not be able to officially book your stay just yet, you can certainly start mapping out where you want to stay, what parks you want to visit, and which dining locations are a must! This way once the booking window arrives, you will already be ahead of the game.
Walt Disney World typically releases vacation packages toward the end of Spring for the following traveling year. I highly suggest following the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements regarding an official date. When they are released, you'll be able to book your Disney Resorts Hotel and ticket package. Advanced Dining Reservations will be made available 60 days in advance of your stay.
When bookings open up, you'll have a few options available to you to plan your trip. You can use the
Walt Disney World website and utilize the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar located toward the top of the page. Enter your anticipated travel dates and number of Guests in your party to get started. You'll be able to choose your Disney Resorts Hotel and the room type you prefer. You'll then select your ticket package and any available add-ons.
If you need assistance, you can
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member. They will be able to answer all of your questions and book your vacation package over the phone. I suggest doing some research prior to calling so you have an idea of what resorts you are most interested in.
Alyse, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming trip!
