Hey Whitney, I read that you've visited lots of the restaurants. We'll be celebrating our 4 year anniversary and I made reservations at Tutto Italia. But after reading some more, it looks that it is more of a crowded/family place. think we will enjoy?

    Whitney:

Although I haven't been to Tutto Italia recently, keep in mind that practically every dining location at Disney, especially in the parks, will be full of families. If you're looking for a romantic meal, Tutto may not be the quiet, intimate dining experience you're looking for, but it is no raucous pizza parlor either. It's popular with all ages and is Disney Mom Margaret's favorite.

FYI: When my husband and I celebrated our 15th Anniversary last year with a meal at Artist Point, I was expecting just that--intimate and quiet. The hostess who greeted us saw that it was noted on our reservation and did everything possible to try and create that: we were seated at a table near the back by the window overlooking the path to the ferry. But she couldn't help that many families with small children were also seated around us and so the quiet dining experience didn't quite unfold. The meal--and view--along with the attentiveness of our server made the most of our evening.

It may be a little more than Tutto, but if you're looking for something on the quiet side in Epcot, look at Bistro de Paris. Its upstairs location and tables for two by the windows makes it very romantic to me. One that stays within your budget that is quiet is Tokyo Dining, and again, a window seat is fabulous at night right before Illuminations.

Two others come to mind that have created quiet, memorable dining experiences for me outside the parks are Sanaa and Jiko.  Although Jiko is on the pricier side than Sanaa, it's dimly lit, more upscale and the menu remarkable for your occasion. Sanaa's exotic menu tends to keep families of picky eaters away and a window seat with a view of the animals, again, makes for a memorable meal.

If you're having second guesses on Tutto, I hope one of these may help you think of an alternative.

Wishing y'all a magical vacation and a memorable anniversary!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
