Hey! Where/what are the best places to eat at WDW before the Wine &Dine 1/2 marathon on that Sat?-(first time 1/2 marathon) know should eat light just not sure what/where. Help please, we are passholders/not sure how to plan that day? Thank you :)

    Hi Amy!

The Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my favorite runDisney race!  You have picked a great one for your first half marathon:)

The most important thing is to eat something that you have eaten on days before one of your long training runs.  You don't want to eat something new that your stomach may regret around mile nine!

I like to eat a big meal on the evening before the race, and then several light meals leading up to the night half marathon.  My favorites are Portobello at Downtown Disney, 'Ohana at the Polynesian, and Via Napoli at Epcot.

I recently wrote a blog for the runDisney website listing my favorite places to eat, and also those of other runDisney enthusiasts.  You may find something you like there!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
