Hey there, researching/planning/saving for our WDW Mar 2020 trip, we’ll be going to celebrate my sons 5th birthday. So I have any options other than the in room celebrations to have something special for him?

    Hi, Alana!

I am so excited to hEAR that you will be celebrating your son's birthday at Walt Disney World next year!  However you choose to celebrate, I'm sure this will be a magical birthday that he will never forget.

While in-room celebrations are always a nice birthday surprise, there are so many other ways to add some extra pixie dust to a special occasion at Walt Disney World.  I think if you take a look at the Enchanting Extras Collection, which consists of over 100 unique experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, you will find something perfect for your Mouseketeer's birthday.

If your son is a Star Wars fan, the Star Wars Guided Tour would be a birthday celebration of galactic proportions.  If it's a pirate's life for him, perhaps he would like to get into character with a visit to The Pirates League.  You could follow-up his pirate transformation with a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage.  If the birthday boy is an animal lover, he might enjoy an experience such as Caring for Giants.

If you are interested in a specialty cake for your son, call or stop by Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs at least 72 hours in advance to order your sweet treat.

I hope your son has the best birthday ever!
