Hey! I just wanted to know why the tickets were not available for August

Hi there Sakshee, and welcome to planDisney!

These days, we all feel a little like Princess Anna when she awoke on coronation day in Arendelle. Finally they're opening up the gaaaates! In just a few days, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will reopen to residents of the Golden State, and my Disney pals and I can't wait.

During the initial reopening period, we can rely on a few certain certainties, such as the requirement to make theme park reservations and wear a face-covering during your visit; however, as we venture into the unknown of these unprecedented times, we have to wait a bit longer for some details. Currently, multi-day theme park tickets are available for use any time before January 12, 2023. Single-day tickets must be purchased with a specific day or Tier in mind, and as of right now, you can select dates through June 30th of this year. Valid admission dates for each tier continue to be added to the calendar, so if you're looking to buy a single-day ticket for later this summer, I recommend checking back every so often.

I wish I could offer more specific information as to when and why more dates will be offered to single-day ticket buyers, so for now, my best advice is to keep checking the ticketing page and the Disney Parks Blog. While you wait, be sure to follow us on social media to experience the exciting reopening days from home. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and have a magical day!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
