Welcome, Yareli, to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You have no idea how excited I was to find your question. This is my 8th year planning school trips to the Walt Disney World Resort for my high school students and I am more than happy to share what I have learned along the way. Rest assured that it is an incredibly gratifying venture you are embarking upon as you plan this class trip. The students will carry memories from this experience with them forever.
The first thing you need to do is determine the specific dates of your trip. Check with the administration of the school where your students attend and find out the exact window during which your group will be permitted to travel. Once you have dates, seek competitive airfares. Call the groups office at the airlines that fly through your local airport. Or check with bus companies if you intend to travel by land.
Meanwhile, you can also start to have conversations with Cast Members at the
Disney Youth Office. Call 1-877-WD-YOUTH and ask them to send you pricing for 2019 theme park tickets, hotel rooms, meal coupons, etc. This will provide you the necessary information to pull together a budget. The fine folks at
Disney Youth are going to become your best friends in this journey. They have so much useful insight, and the discounted tickets and lodging will make this trip possible for a large number of families who wish to send their children along for the adventure.
Don't forget to stop back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel as additional questions arise. I'd be very happy to give you suggestions along the way.
Best wishes for your planning,
Jill
