Hey! Visiting WDW 11/9/13-11/14/13. What are the best places to eat and which ones would need to have a reservation made ahead of time?

    Hi Haley,

When it comes to planning my family's vacations at Walt Disney World, I always start with our dining reservations. While I love the theme parks, resort hotels, and other recreational activities, I REALLY look forward to the dining experiences!

That being said, I can easily rave about any of the restaurants at Walt Disney World. However, I'll try to contain my excitement and throw out 5 suggestions for what I feel are the "best places to eat."

    #1 - Victoria & Albert's

This restaurant is the epitome of fine dining! Name any travel guide and you'll find that Victoria & Albert's has the highest ratings and awards possible.

    #2 - The California Grill

The overlooking view of the Magic Kingdom is just as spectacular as the menu!

    #3 - Todd English's bluezoo

If you're looking for seafood that's been kicked up to notches previously unknown, then this restaurant is for you!

    #4 - Le Cellier

I cook such a mean steak that I don't order it at restaurants any more. This restaurant, however, is an exception to that rule!

    #5 - Monsieur Paul

While the regular menu is out of the world, give the prix fixe menu a shot and prepare to be wowed.

Now, I have a list of "honorable mentions" that is a mile long. If you'd be curious to hear about some other restaurants, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to throw out a few more suggestions. I never get tired of talking about the food at Walt Disney World!

P.S. - Yes, reservations are a must for the restaurants at Walt Disney World. If you have a tough time snagging some (since your vacation is coming up pretty soon), don't fret. Just keep trying because cancellations happen regularly.

    Bon Appetit!

    Best regards,
    Derek
