    Hey we are trying to plan a trip for the flower and garden festival for 2017. When does it start and end, and what is your recommended travel week for 2017? Thanks

    Hi Deborah,

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. So nice to hear that you are going to WDW. I just came back from WDW and it was my first trip in May. I am completely in love with Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Besides all the beautiful topiaries, you can try some exotic drinks and taste many special foods. This year we were able to try a delicious warm chocolate cake with bourbon and spicy pecans. You can learn about greenhouses, horticulture and they have many great concerts happening there too. Usually, the festival is during Spring and based on this year and previous years’ date, you can have an idea about next year’s date. Start to follow Disney Parks Blog because they will announce the dates there first. May was too hot already, you can visit during April and it will be better.
