Hey I have a trip to visit the parks in like a week and I I would like to know if I purchased tickets online do I need any other info when getting to the park Thanks any info will be appreciated

Welcome to planDisney, Jamie! Your trip to Walt Disney World is right around the corner, so let me do my best Tarzan impression and swing into action to make sure you have all the information you need to get into your favorite theme park!

The easiest way to use tickets purchased online is to ensure you have them linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you haven’t set up an account yet, simply go to the Walt Disney World website, hover over MyDisneyExperience on the top right of the screen, and select Sign In or Create Account. Once you have your account set up, you can link the tickets to your account in one of two ways, either on your computer or on your mobile device after downloading the My Disney Experience App.

    • On your computer, hover over MyDisneyExperience and select My Plans. The next screen will have five circles for the major planning tools: Family & Friends, Resort Hotel, Park Tickets, Park Reservations, and Dining. Select Park Tickets and then Link Tickets. On the following screen, you will enter the 12-digit number associated with your ticket(s) and you are linked!
    • Through the My Disney Experience app, click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the bottom right of the app, tap on Tickets and Passes, and then Link Tickets & Passes. Select the method in which you would like to link the tickets, and they will be loaded into your account!

Whichever method you choose to link your tickets, I highly recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app, as you can take advantage of complimentary services, such as Genie (used to plan your day based on your input) and MagicMobile (serving as your park ticket, connecting PhotoPass to your account, facilitating charges to your Disney Resort Collection hotel, and allowing you to redeem virtual queue or Lightning Lane selections).

To use MagicMobile, open the My Disney Experience app, click on the menu icon in the bottom-right corner, and select Disney MagicMobile to set up your pass. Click the plus icon (+) and follow the prompts to add your MagicMobile pass to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Apple users have Express Mode enabled automatically when adding the pass to their wallet, allowing them to hold their device to the touchpoint without opening their wallet or unlocking their device. Android users will need to unlock devices before using MagicMobile.

If you haven’t done so already, I would also entertain purchasing a MagicBand or MagicBand+ from shopDisney, the My Disney Experience App, World of Disney at Disney Springs, or a merchandise location in one of the theme parks. You can link your band to your account through the app and then be able to tap into the parks, open your Disney Resort Collection hotel room, or even make charges to the credit card on file at your Disney hotel!

I hope this answer helps, Jamie. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask me directly, or submit another question to planDisney!
