    Hey there moms! Our trip will definitely be magical because it was a surprise for my birthday from my dad. This will be our first trip in September and the answers about the weather were certainly helpful, but do they start the Halloween stuff this early?

    Hi, Shannon! What a wonderful surprise - your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is already off to such a magical start.

    I am not sure when in September you are arriving, but I hope it is mid-September or later. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off this year on September 15th and takes place during select nights through November 1st. Magic Kingdom Park will be decorated with beautiful fall colors and decorations in time for this special event. Purchase your tickets soon if you plan on attending, as some nights do sell out. Remember to bring your Halloween costume as well as your sweet tooth! Adults and children alike are invited to trick-or-treat at designated locations during the party.

    If you are arriving toward the end of September, you also will be visiting during one of my favorite events. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Presented by Chase starts on September 25th. My entire family loves dining 'around the world'. We are able to sample so many types of new dishes, it really makes eating an adventure in itself. Make sure you come hungry, Shannon!
