From one “twin dad” to another, welcome to planDisney, Peter! My twin sons were slightly younger than your twins when they had their first adventure to Walt Disney World! I’m happy to offer some advice to make the experience magical for them and for you!
A few tips to help keep the little ones cool in the warm Disney sun:
1) Stay hydrated – keep some cool water or watered-down juice in your stroller or backpack
2) Go early – the parks are cooler (and less crowded) in the early morning
3) Air-conditioned attractions – several indoor attractions in all four theme parks will give much-needed relief from the Florida sun
4) Fans – we purchased cooling fans to attach to the stroller. We also purchased fans inside the park that provide a fan and a little spray mist. Our boys LOVED these fans and still have them!
5) Downtime – schedule downtime every day to go back to your resort hotel to nap, swim, or both. We always did this midday and then returned to the parks in the afternoon/evening when the temps cooled.
6)
Baby Care Centers – they aren’t just for “babies.” Baby care centers are available in all four theme parks. They are air-conditioned and provide an opportunity for parents and little ones to just chill in a comforting environment for a little bit.
7) Relaxing Pace – it’s Disney World, you’re going to be tempted to pack as much into a day as possible. Try not to overschedule or “overdo it.” Go at a leisurely pace and enjoy what you can! Your twins are little, and they will LOVE what they do experience and won’t really know what they don’t experience.
Peter, your question was a great one! I’m glad I was able to provide some tips! Please feel free to send more questions as you prepare for your visit to Mickey and Minnie’s Florida home! I'm also

Dreams do come true!
