Hey! Totally confused about photopass. Can't decide whether it's worth it or whether I should just give the photographer my camera. If I do get it are the photos mine to upload on facebook etc? or are they still "disneys"? Help!

    Hi Karen,

There's no need to purchase the Disney Photopass CD prior to your visit.  If you have concerns about whether purchasing the CD is for you, then just wait until your visit.  Keep in mind that it costs nothing to use the Photopass service at Walt Disney World.  Photopass photographers will take your photos throughout the Disney theme parks without charge.  You pay only if you wish to purchase prints or the CD.  If you purchase the CD, Disney will grant you the permission to to use the photos as you see fit.

I've actually never purchased the Disney Photopass CD.  The Photopass photographers will happily take photos with your camera as well.  I like having the photos right on my camera to use as I please.  Whether you use Disney Photopass pictures or the ones on your own camera, I'm sure you'll be bringing back many amazing photographs from your trip.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation!
