Hey! I was thinking about doing a land/sea vacay. I want to stay at AOA before the cruise and then at the AKL after. Can I move my car to AKL before we leave on the cruise?

Hi Robin! Disney is very cooperative with guests who have booked resort and cruise vacations. They understand that logistics can be different then regular guests and will help when they can. When staying at Fort Wilderness we often see motor coaches that need to be parked in the front lot while guests cruise.

If you are going to use Disney transportation to get to the port then you will need to talk with the cruiseline about your pick-up point. If you need to get the car to the Animal Kingdom Lodge ahead of time you can always drive, park the car, then take a park bus and change at a park to an Art of Animation resort bus.

Resort guests are no longer given parking slips for the car as your Magic Band is your resort confirmation. Please always communicate with both resorts about your plans to move the car and follow their instructions.  Have a wonderful Disney land and sea vacation!
