Hi Moe and
bienvenue to planDisney!
A visit to
Disneyland Paris at anytime of year is amazing but, I seriously cannot think of anywhere more magical to visit over Christmas or, better to ring in the New Year. My family did actually spend New Years Eve at Disneyland Paris once, several years ago and it was a truly amazing experience.
Top Tip - Evenings can get very cold in late December so, you will definitely want to wrap up warm for the occasion. Think hats, scarves, gloves and if you feel the cold, like me, thermals and some hand warmers are a great idea too.
Disney Tales of Magic nighttime spectacular takes place every single evening (weather permitting) and on 31 December, the show will be presented in an adapted version, to allow for extended park opening hours.
Disneyland Park will stay open until 1am on the 31st December where you can expect to see spectacular fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle at midnight, extra animations, dance parties and more - all offered at no extra cost.
More detailed information is likely to be made available closer to the time. I would recommend keeping a close eye on the Disneyland Paris website and social media accounts in the run up to your trip.
Typically, in the past, only the standard nighttime show takes place on the 30th December so, I would definitely recommend visiting on New Year's Eve itself in order to experience the extra offerings.
It is possible to book a
Reserved Viewing Area for the nighttime show but, I checked with a Disney Agent this morning who confirmed that unfortunately, there is no availability left on either 30th or 31st December 2025.
I hope that this information has been of use, Moe and that you have a great time at Disneyland Paris.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
