Hey Howdy Hey, Danielle!
Thanks for coming back to visit with another Toy Story question! I have some good and not as good news for you this time around.
Disney's All Star Movies Resort is where you'll find the Toy Story courtyard and these rooms are in buildings 9 and 10. These buildings are considered Preferred Rooms since they are near Cinema Hall, which is where you'll find the main pool, front desk,
World Premiere Food Court and the bus stops.
The not as good news here is that these buildings have been recently refurbished and the inside of them are no longer Toy Story themed. They are still adorably themed like the Mickey Mouse classic cartoons and have wood flooring instead of carpet, which I love. There are several video room tours online if you do a quick Google search for "All Star Movies Toy Story Room Tour". Look for the ones from around July 2018 and later.
To have the chance to stay in the Toy Story section, you'll need to book a preferred room category. Next, you can put a building request in by calling the Disney reservations line. I would suggest also requesting rooms that face the courtyard. Even though these rooms do not have balconies, it's fun to walk out of your room to see a giant Buzz or Woody statue first thing in the morning. Please do keep in mind that this is only a request and it is not a guarantee.
The good news is that you are more than welcome to visit and play in the Toy Story courtyard whenever you'd like if you aren't staying in the Toy Story section! You'll find friends like Buzz, Woody, Bo Peep, Rex, RC and more. These props and statues make for incredible photo opportunities as well as other courtyards around All Star Movies Resort.
Please let me know if I can be of further help as you keep planning your first
Walt Disney World visit!
Have a magical day!
Leslie
