Hey there. Soooo what are some have to see for our first time at Disney World? And do those have too see require a specific reservation? We head to FL Oct 12, at the parks 13-16. Park each day . We already got tixs for the not so scary Halloween

Hi Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for taking the time to personally send me your question!

You're going to Walt Disney World for the first time?! I'm so excited for you and your family! When going to the theme parks, each person in your travel party will need a theme park reservation for each day that you visit. The only other reservations you would want to have are for your must-do restaurants. You can make advanced dining reservations for those now.

I have some suggestions for what to see and do during your very special, first visit! Some of my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom Park are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Haunted Mansion, and Peter Pan's Flight.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, don't miss Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway! I also highly recommend spending time in Toy Story Land! The theming is so fun and you will feel like you are one of Andy's toys! I love to visit this area early in the day and again at night when it's all lit up! If your family loves thrills, be sure to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith and if you would rather watch thrills, go see Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Kilimanjaro Safaris is a great way to start the day and the animals are usually more active and present in the morning. Pandora - The World of Avatar is not-to-be-missed and this is another land that I like to visit earlier in the day and return to at night. Avatar Flight of Passage is an amazing attraction and one that is very unique and different from any other ride!

At EPCOT, it's fun to eat and drink your way around the World Showcase at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! There are so many fun attractions too, like the newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind which is a family-friendly coaster. I also highly recommend riding Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and Frozen Ever After

Another suggestion I have is to plan some downtime. Our family loves spending time at the pool and we also enjoy visiting Disney Springs for some shopping and a nice dinner.

Wishing you a magical vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please send any other questions to me at planDisney. I would be happy to help!

    Wishing you magic every day!
