Hey, my son is 2 and is really tall for his age. Would I need to bring his birth certificate to prove he’s 2? Everyone always thinks he’s older than he is and I didn’t want any complications.

    Hey there, Latashia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your little Mouseketeer in just a few weeks!

Children under the age of 3 are considered Guests of Mickey and don't require theme park admission. You will not be required to show proof of age for your 2-year-old. The theme parks work on an honor system when it comes to the ages of young Guests. I've taken all four of my children to Walt Disney World Resort at least twice before their 3rd birthday and was never asked to show proof of age when entering the parks. My oldest two children have always been very tall for their age, and we were never questioned or asked to show proof of age for either of them. That being said, if it would ease your mind, you could always bring a copy of your toddler's birth certificate to be on the safe side.

Since your 2-year-old will not have park admission, you will not be able to book FastPass+ selections for him. If you will be utilizing Disney FastPass+ service, simply let the Cast Member know at the entrance of the attraction that your son is under the age of 3. During your FastPass+ window, your little one will be allowed to enter the FastPass+ entrance with you as long as he meets the minimum height requirement for that particular attraction. You will be pleasantly surprised by just how many attractions and entertainment options your son will be able to experience during your upcoming trip. He will be able to experience any attractions that are categorized for Guests of "Any Age" or "Any Height."

I hope this information is helpful to you, Latashia. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
