Hey there, my son has been very excited to go to Magic Kingdom with his grandfather and I on April 4th. Unfortunately, he is very sick this week and may not be able to go. Can we reschedule our tickets or move them to a different date?

    Hi there, Andras!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Sometimes plans have to be altered because of being sick, or simply changing your mind. In the midst of your son not feeling well, I am happy to bring you a bit of good news.

First things first, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. However, you absolutely can modify an unused ticket's currently selected date and theme park (if needed). As long as the tickets have not expired, you can modify their dates by calling a Cast Member using the "Existing Tickets" phone number or by doing it yourself via your My Disney Experience account online.

Depending on which dates you change your visit to, you may have to pay the difference between the price of your new and former selected dates. Theme park ticket prices are dependent on which theme park(s) you visit and what time of year that you decide to tap into the magic.

Andras, please give us a holler if you have additional questions about your upcoming vacation. We'd love to share more of our tips and tricks with you. Get well soon; Magic Kingdom Park awaits you!

    Magic always,
