Hey, my school is planning on going to Disneyland (California) for our grad night. I was wondering if i can bring a metal lightsaber into the park.

Hiya, Daniel, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting, to be planning for your Grad Nite at the Disneyland Resort! I’d love to help you with your question. I checked with a Cast Member, and unfortunately, a metal lightsaber won’t be allowed inside the Disneyland Resort, since it would fall under the category of a weapon, as it could potentially hurt someone. The Disneyland Resort wants to ensure the safety of all Guests, at all times. However, you’re more than welcome to purchase any of the lightsabers available in the theme parks, so long as you keep them in their original purchase bags. Here are the Disneyland Resort Rules, in case you have any other questions about what items are allowed inside the theme parks.

No matter which Grad Nite ticket option you choose, you’re guaranteed to have a blast celebrating your Senior year at the Happiest Place on Earth! Personally, I can’t think of anything better than hanging out with my friends at an exclusive party at Disney California Adventure Park from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM!

Some of my favorite attractions at Disney California Adventure Park include Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT, Incredicoaster, and Toy Story Midway Mania! Get ready for an action-packed night to remember, Daniel!

Wishing you an epic Grad Nite at the Disneyland Resort!
