Hey ! So I recently went to Magic Kingdom and bought a souvenir popcorn bucket. Is it possible to bring back the bucket next time we come to the park ?

Hi Lizette! This past year Disney brought a new idea to the parks when it comes to popcorn. This past summer they introduced a refillable popcorn bucket where guests could refill their bucket for a small fee all day once they purchased the bucket. Later it seems they extended this to be more like your length of stay. In other words they would refill your bucket anytime in any park for that small fee throughout your entire vacation.

I am not sure if you purchased your bucket during this promotion or not. Disney changes the bucket designs quite often and it would be highly unlikely the design of your bucket would allow you for this refill promotion for your next vacation. You can certainly bring your old bucket but you might have to simply buy popcorn in a box and then fill your bucket with that. If Disney is still doing the refillable promotion it would be better if you just bought a new bucket so you could refill it at the low cost during your vacation. I cannot guarantee the promotion will continue. It was supposed to be a test lasting only the summer months but it has continued on. Disney can change their ideas quickly and with no advance warning so promising something is impossible. I know packing a large bucket can be cumbersome so the decision will be yours.
