Hey! We have recently booked reservations at GF club level sugar loaf. I noticed that there are 2 different club levels. What are the differences and which one is better? We have stayed club level at the yacht club and we really enjoyed the experience.

Hi Heather! There are indeed two concierge choices when staying at the Grand Floridian resort. I have only stayed in the Royal Palm rooms and have never tried the Sugar Loaf area.

The Royal Palm concierge is in the main building and these rooms will run more then rooms with concierge service in the Sugar Loaf building.  This is due to the convenience of their location being close to the monorail, buses, shops, and restaurants.  The rooms are located on the third through the fifth floors with many of these rooms being suites.  When we stayed in this area we often requested the rooms surrounding the lobby as we loved to keep our door open in the evening and listen to the band or the pianist play.  For other guests these rooms were too noisy and they preferred something down the hall.

The concierge food amenities will be similar but I have heard that the Royal Palm has more to offer. I was not able to confirm this but with the price being more it might be possible.

My favorite resort on property is the Yacht and Beach Club and love their club level service and concierges.  Many have become life long friends of mine and even if I am not staying at that resort I often stop by to say hello.

Enjoy your vacation at the great Grand Floridian resort.  I hope it is as magical as all of your past vacations at Walt Disney World!
