Hiya, Nichole, and thanks for stopping by!
Wagons and stroller wagons have definitely been a hot topic on the Disney Parks Moms Panel lately, as you’ve seen. I appreciate your sense of humor regarding this discussion as well -- you made me laugh!
As Panelists, we want to make sure we’re passing along the best information to keep all Guests safe and comfortable. So, we always go back to the
Park Rules and
list of permitted items, which state that wagons of any kind are not allowed in the parks. That being said, as an avid Disneyland Resort visitor, I’ve also seen these stroller wagons inside the parks, and I haven’t personally seen any turned away at security checkpoints. However, my fellow panelist, Anna,
has seen a stroller wagon denied entry. So, experiences may vary. I understand how vexing this difference in official policy and rule enforcement can be.
Personally, I would hate to get all the way to the security checkpoint, only to be turned around. I’d recommend playing it safe and bringing a stroller no larger than 36” x 52”. The Disneyland Resort also offers
stroller rentals for single, jogger-style strollers, and if you’re looking for a double stroller, I recommend contacting City Stroller Rentals, which is an official vendor of the Disneyland Resort.
If we receive any new information regarding this hot topic, we’ll be sure to pass it along through our responses on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. So, stay tuned!
See ya’ real soon!
